If a Private or Semi Private Lesson is more your style, Pines Surfing Academy will provide you with that special personal attention. Private lessons have a 1 to 1 ratio and Semi Private have a 2 to 1 ratio.
Our friendly, professional and qualified instructors will teach you the essential fundamentals which will guide you through the tough process of surfing.
Like all our Programs, the main focus of our Private Lesson is to help build confidence in the surf regardless of your surfing ability. Participants will develop an understanding of the surf and the ocean in a safe environment during the lesson.
As well as developing surf skills, the lesson will also covers topics such as surf awareness, surf conditions, fitness, identifying rips, timing of catching waves, reading the surf and surf etiquette.
No matter what your fitness and skill level is, we will teach you the basics of board handling and various techniques on getting to your feet.
Pines Surfing Academy’s team of friendly, professional and qualified instructors will work with you individually on your surfing technique to ensure that you learn to surf the correct way, without creating bad habits

Our One-on-One lessons are perfect for an individual wanting to learn more about surfing, or advance at a faster pace. You will be surfing in no time at all, with our professional instructor spending every moment of the lesson teaching just you.
TWO-ON-ONE LESSON 2 HOURS
Our Semi Private Group is perfect for couples, friends or families who want to share their experience with just the two of them. With personalised attention we find our clients maximise their level of ability at a great rate.This is also ideal for families with younger children who may need more supervision in the water; or those who have a bit more surfing experience and want to customise their lesson to suit their ability.
