Our extremely popular Surfwise After School Surfing Program lessons have now been extended to an hour and a half (during term 1 & 4 // 1 hour during term 2 & 3) every afternoon starting at the Beginning of each Term. That means more value and more importantly more time out in the water!
The 8 Week Surfwise After School Program is held every afternoon after school. This program is suited to surfers of all levels from beginners to advanced, and provides structure learning outcomes from Level 1 to Level 10.
The main focus of the ‘8 Week SurfwiseAfter School Program’ is to help build confidence in the surf regardless of surfing ability. Students will develop an understanding of the surf and the ocean in a safe environment during this program.
As well as developing surf skills, the program also covers topics such as surf awareness, surf conditions, fitness, identifying rips, timing of catching waves and reading the surf.
PARENTS: This is a great way to get the kids surf smart. Please do not let your fear of the ocean stop your children from experiencing and learning how to surf.
Pines Surfing Academy has built a solid reputation for providing fun and enjoyable classes. All our instructors are accredited and hold their bronze medallion, senior first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. So your kids are in expert hands.
Also all staff are Police Checked and “New Working with Children Check” which was introduced by the NSW Commission for Children and Young people in June 2013.

Times:
Monday to Friday 4:00pm – 5.30pm (term 1 & 4)
Monday to Friday 4:00pm – 5:00pm (term 2 & 3)
Saturday & Sunday 9:00am to 11:00am All Year Round.
FOR THE BUSY KIDS: WEEKENDS AFTER SCHOOL CAN BE DONE AT 9-11AM ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY AT BOTH LOCATIONS.

Duration: 8 x 1 and half hour lessons (The program runs for 8 weeks, Just incase we have to postpone lessons due to bad conditions and to give you flexibility just in case you have other commitments. If we do have good conditions throughout the term, you have the options of signing up for another 8 week program or pay weekly for the rest of the term.)
Cost: $250 per person up front payment or $35pp per WEEK OPTION
The Surfwise After School Program is suitable for people from 5 years of age.

Please remember that you can book in for the 8 Week After School Program at any point during the school year. Make up lessons are available for missed sessions, so you won’t miss out on surf time if you are sick, away or make a late booking.

All money must be paid for to finalise booking. Lessons will still run if it is raining. We will require at least 24 HOURS NOTICE if you need to cancel or reschedule your lessons. If cancellation is made LESS THAN 24 HOURSnotice you will forfeit the cost of the lessons. A lesson will be cancelled/postponed if we deem it to be too dangerous and unsafe for our students and staff, in which case a rescheduled, credit or full refund will be provide.
